I thought since it seems are lives are so difficult and sometimes on the negative side. Maybe we might just start acknowledging blessings each day. Maybe this will help us keep ourselves from falling into all the negative. Like today I am blessed because I noticed my patience is getting better. I hope you all can see at least one blessing a day. Even though we have many we sometimes don't think about or see. May God Bless.
We had sunshine that was wonderful.
Everyone is doing fine.
And Jesus died for me, for all.
Every breath is a blessing.
Thank you Lord.
“No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.”
1 John 4:12
I am thankful that my family is doing well with me working and it is all getting sorted out and more organized in a routine that everyone is accepting. I am thankful that I can sleep a little later tomorrow, Lord willing. I am thankful that God loved us so much to send Jesus to die in my place. I am thankful when the Lord send me trials to humble me.
I am thankful for my agingcare family.
I am blessed!!
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”
Ephesians 3:20
What a great day!!!
All thanks and glory be to God the Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Your positive attitude is so uplifting! Keep spreading the joy. It’s contagious. 💗
Child of sorrow and of woe;
It will joy and comfort give you,
Take it then where'er you go.
Precious name! Oh, how sweet!
Hope of earth and joy of heav'n;
Precious name! Oh, how sweet!
Hope of earth and joy of heav'n.
Take the name of Jesus ever,
As a shield from every snare.
If temptations round you gather,
Breathe that holy name in prayer.
Oh, the precious name of Jesus,
How it thrills our souls with joy;
All the favor of the Father
In this name we may enjoy.
At the name of Jesus bowing,
Falling prostrate at His feet,
Claim His vict'ry over evil
And the enemy defeat.
Bless you all!
And we gather to Jesus, our Savior and friend;
If we come to Him in faith, His protection to share,
What a balm for the weary, oh, how sweet to be there!
’Tis the blessed hour of prayer, when the Savior draws near,
With a tender compassion His children to hear;
When He tells us we may cast at His feet every care,
What a balm for the weary, oh, how sweet to be there!
’Tis the blessed hour of prayer, when the tempted and tried
To the Savior who loves them their sorrow confide;
With a sympathizing heart He removes every care;
What a balm for the weary, oh, how sweet to be there!
At the blessed hour of prayer, trusting Him, we believe
That the blessing we’re needing we’ll surely receive;
In the fullness of the trust we shall lose every care;
What a balm for the weary, oh, how sweet to be there!
Blessed hour of prayer, blessed hour of prayer,
What a balm for the weary, oh, how sweet to be there!
Psalms 118:24
Don't you wish all anxiety could be erased? So many people worry about silly things. I understand genuine concern about legitimate concerns but excess worrying about stupid stuff is crazy. We should learn to leave it all in God's hands but for many that is easier said than done. It's a learned process. It's interesting, since I have gotten older I find that I worry less. Not sure why? I guess I find it a waste of time. I wish I could take back all the needless hours that I worried about stupid stuff, all the 'what if's?'
Your comment reminded me of The Beatles song, Here Comes The Sun. That was on the Abbey Road album which I had. I had tons of albums throughout the years. I started off with the little single 45's, remember? Geeeez, I am getting old!
I so wanted to see The Beatles after seeing them on The Ed Sullivan Show as a kid. I begged my parents to take me to city park when I was nine years old (1964) to the concert. Tickets were $4.00. They would not take me because they did not want to be around the screaming girls. I told them that I wanted to be one of the screaming girls.
I pray for you all daily.
I hope you all are doing ok.
And tomorrow is Friday, YAY!!
And we are all doing ok.
Thank you Jesus!
Psalms 47:6
Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises
We are all well thanks be to God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
Psalms 104:1
If she is truly happy about not going then I am SOOOOOOOO happy she is not goiing and so thankful.
Thank you Jesus.
When people reach a certain age they should have the prerogative to opt out of an activity. You are so understanding to not pressure her and lovingly accept her choice. Trips can be exhausting.
Then at home I was with my beloved family members, and we had a warm, safe house to enjoy as we practice "social distancing" as much as possible. I can keep up my exercise, and catch up on books I've meant to get to!
Lord, please help our scientists and medical professionals find a cure and effective treatments for the virus as soon as possible, and help us treat and contain the illness as much as possible. Lord, comfort the afflicted. Lord, give Your wisdom to our leaders. But whatever happens, we will rest in You. Nothing really bad can happen to us as long as we belong to You. You're with us all the way. You are the God who keeps us from falling:
Now to him that can keep you on your feet, standing tall in his bright presence, fresh and celebrating-- to our one God, our only Savior, through Jesus Christ, our Master, be glory, majesty, strength, and rule before all time, and now, and to the end of all time. Yes. (Jude 24-25, The Message Bible).
Thank You, Lord!
Proverbs 16:3
Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Thank you Lord for all your blessings.
I am grateful that my hubby has his job.
A friend of my brothers called this morning and asked if he could do some grocery shopping for us. I declined because he takes care of his 102 year old mother and I am sure he is busy caring for her. He also said he would check in on us. Thank you Lord for all your blessing!
Went out with family for ice cream.
Took a ride , sun shining.
Did not watch the news most of the day.
Counting my blessings!
Had to get gloves and wipes and went to Costco's and actually found some toilet paper, so I picked up one package. What a blessing. Do not have to worry about TP now for awhile.
It was nice to speak across our yards to one another. It feels so freakin strange not to hear any cars driving around.
It is so quiet, which actually is a good thing because people are abiding by our ‘stay at home’ regulations.
Anyway, I saw him walking across our porch with something in his hands that he laid down. So, my husband and I went to see what he dropped off.
It’s a lovely cross that he made for us with a scripture attached. He enclosed a note that said that he wanted to give us an Easter gift. Isn’t that so sweet?
I am glad that I am able to do a small part in helping others. I know people are selling them on websites like Etsy but I would rather give them away.
